Last night was the Nashville Raw semi finals.

Awards were given to the best of the 5 nominees in each category.

Music, Film, Dance, Fashion, Photography, Hair, Make up and Art !

It was an exciting evening

full of fun and creativity.

We were encouraged to paint live during the showcase .

At the end of the evening as they announced the winners I could hardly believe it when I heard my name ! Winning the Raw semi finals means I've been chosen to represent Nashville in the Visual Arts Category at the Raw national awards next month.

It's so exciting, I still can't believe the journey God is taking me on.

Sunday night at The Hard Rock in downtown Nashville

was the annual PINKFEST concert.

All proceeds from the evening of music and art are going to

Women Rock for the cure

The evening was about raising awareness and money to fight breast cancer.

As the amazing Women rocked I had the privileged of painting some of them.

It was an amazing evening

Nashville Flood

The Nashville Flood

was a year ago today

This piece was commissioned by my home church Crosspoint

located here in Bellevue

To commemorate the year anniversary of the historic Nashville flood.

Prints were given to the flood victims that go to our church. A simple reminder to each of us of all God had done in our lives over the course of the last year.

Crosspoint came out in force within an hour of the water receding last year ,helping so many of the victims including our own family . The flood destroyed most of the homes on our street including the bottom half of our house .

So this piece is very near and dear to my heart
